Antony Turner is a fantastic trainer & mentor, not only is the support from Ant & Team second to none, he is also always available to help when needed.
Even now, 3 years on I am still able to contact him if I have any questions or concerns, particularly if I get a client with tricky skin or asymmetry as with this job you are always learning.
I have now been supported in getting my own shop and building a business with the support from Ant & Lucy, they always show their pride in my work and keep an eye on what I’m up to, pushing me to be better.
Highly recommended, I wouldn’t have gone anywhere else. Ant is really laid back but also firm with his teaching, constructive with feedback and supportive in dealing with problems. It’s a reallly fun & engaging clinic to learn and you always feel welcome and looked after.

I could not recommend Antony enough, the training itself was outstanding. I was a little nervous starting out again but ant and his team just make you feel at ease straight away. I have had previous training with another technician but felt like I couldn’t message them for advice after the training. With Antony I know I can message any hour of the day and he will get back to me and if he’s not available, for example he’s at the dentist Lucy will reply to me. Ant is very friendly, professional and a little funny but what I like most is he says it as it is. So if I needed to be better in a certain area he would tell me and tell me how to improve it, so I become the best I can be. It’s not just about the money for Ant, he wants you to succeed.

Even now after being in the industry a few years I still message Ant to get his opinion on certain clients, if I’m struggling with the shape of a clients brows or selecting the correct colour for lips he’s always there which is great because it’s a lifetime of support. If your thinking about training with Ant, just do it you won’t be disappointed 😀

How did I enter the world of PMU?
I had been looking at doing a PMU course for a long time, Scrolling endlessly through the internet and social media at thousands of academy's. BUT.... Then I found Antony Turner Permanent Make Up & Training ... And WOW, what can I say, by far the BEST decision I have made. From the very first email, to home study and practical Antony and his team were incredible. They were there every step of the way!
My practical training was 1-1 with Antony himself and I can honestly say no stone was left unturned, from anatomy and physiology, to the Fitzpatrick scale, skin tones, pigments, machines, techniques and everything else along the way, he was incredible. The teaching, knowledge and skill was second to none. I will forever be greatful. 🙏🏽 My journey has only just begun.

I first discovered Antony during lockdown through an Instagram live and was drawn to his honest, no-nonsense approach to PMU. Unlike other "world-leading" academies that left me without support, Antony went above and beyond—helping me in real time with a challenging client before we'd even met. His masterclass was a game-changer, transforming my technique instantly and improving my healed results consistently. Unlike overpriced, disengaged trainers, Antony truly cares about his students, offering ongoing guidance and support. Though we don’t speak often, I know he’s always there, and I can’t wait to train with him again.

I completed a Brow Masterclass with Antony today, I traveled almost 2 hours each way and it was so worth it!! I have been doing brows for nearly 3 years and believe you should always keep learning and up-skilling, this is exactly what I got from today. Antony was patient, friendly and most importantly kind. My confidence has been so low and I left feeling ready to take on my business again!I had everything I needed, even lunch and I felt really comfortable to ask loads of questions, there was no issue with models and it ran really smoothly . The clinic is easy to find, parking was good, right outside and the feeling in the clinic is welcoming and friendly. All the staff were lovely. Had a master class today with Antony and so glad i did!! Ive been doing SPMU for nearly 5 years now and you can never stop learning new techniques to perfect your own skills! He is amazing!, welcoming and really down to earth and tells you all the good and the bad about his career (which alot of us in SPMU can relate too!) and really knows his stuff!, I loved learning how to perfect my Ombre brows today, and i feel so much more confident in the technique and the different pigment brands & colour choices for each client!
If anyone is thinking about doing a master classwith him, DO IT!!

I completed the Ombre Brow Masterclass with Antony yesterday and wow! Best decision I ever made. Implementing his methods I was able to produce a result I never have before (in 2.5 years of PMU!) and he has completely changed my method of working, for the better! So many useful tips / bits of info and would 100% recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

I trained with Antony for a masterclass on powder brows. I had been struggling with my technique and a few other things. The training was so well planned and delivered yet super relaxed and friendly. Honestly learnt so much in that day with him and lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. He really watched you work and gave feedback to get you where you needed to be. I wish i had trained with him earlier and i will definitely be back to add on a lip masterclass. Also prior to me booking on the masterclass i would send Antony a message for advice and he always came back to me which doesn’t tend to happen in this industry sadly and still continues to give that support. After working as a PMU artist doing microblading, then training in digital hairstrokes for 6 years, I did lots of research into training in ombré brows, I wanted someone who was authentic and produced the right style of brow for me and my clients. I stalked Antony on social media for a good 6 months before finally investing in his masterclass, I travelled from London to Leeds, and I can honestly say that it is one of the best decisions I have ever made. I first trained with Antony doing his microblading to machine course which quite literally has changed my career and my life. I was able to then offer more than microbladed hairstrokes with combination and ombré brows, a request that was becoming more and more popular in my salon. I then returned for his lip blush course and lastly eyeliner course. Antony has a brilliant way of teaching and explaining things in a way easy to understand and retain. From the first day of the course Antony is there to offer help and support all the way through to now, years after I initially trained with him I wouldn’t hesitate to reach out for help or advice if I needed it knowing they would be there!
